2 Traditional Cornish Cottages in the Beautiful Camel Valley

Two traditional Cornish holiday cottages remotely located in the Camel Valley and within easy reach of the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the wonderful Cornish coast. Set peacefully in 5 acres of countryside, Brinkywell (3 Bed) and Brinkyelm (2 Bed) have been refurbished to a high standard to provide comfortable accommodation and total relaxation. These snug cottages, made from traditional Cornish materials, are available all year round with both central heating and open fires.

General Terms

The property hired is strictly on the basis that the accommodation is for holiday use only and that no right to remain in the accommodation exists for the hirer or any person allowed into the property by the hirer.

The hirer will be held liable for any costs incurred as a result of any delayed departures.

No contract shall exist until signed booking form and deposit of 25% has been received. For weekend bookings, the full hire is to be paid with booking.

Please Note: The cottages have a strict no smoking policy.

Weekend lets are available at certain times of the year and to be paid for in full with the booking order. Saturday is the normal change date in season, but other dates will be considered, especially out of season. At the end of your visit you will be expected to leave the property clean and tidy.

If you wish to have cleaning work carried out for you, please confirm this at the time of your booking. Costs - Brinkywell £30 ; Brinkyelm £25.

INSURANCE

You are strongly advised to take holiday insurance to cover cancellation. A refund will not be given unless a new booking is made, and a handling charge incurred.

General Conditions

Electricity

Each cottage is self-contained. Electricity meters and main controls are in each hall. Supplies will be on upon arrival.

Hot water

Brinkywell is served by an electrical immersion heater in the summer and by gas when the central heating is in use during cold weather. Brinkyelm has an electrical immersion heater only.

Cold Water

Both properties are served by a private bore hole (tested annually) and a water purifier / steriliser is installed.

Heating

Brinkywell has full calor gas automatic / thermostatically controlled central heating. An open fire is available in the living room and if used, must not be left unattended.

Brinkyelm has night-store off-peak heating with open log burner in the living room. If the open fire is used, it must not be left unattended. Fuel is available for both cottages and is located in the adjacent wood shed.

Televisions

Colour television and video are available in both cottages.

Dog Policy

Bed Linen

Bed Linen, towels, tea towels etc. are not provided.

Service and Fuel costs

All service and fuel costs are included in the tariff.

Improvements

It is our policy to continue to improve the equipment and property from time to time, and additional facilities may be provided over and above those stated.
